We cannot access the stats anymore without giving some sort of authorization. Can we please remove this?

We have a process on how we determine who gets a game, we follow a series of tie breakers as follows... It starts by how many games you have played already... the one with the lowest amount of games played has priority... then we look if you been rated, if you have not been rated then you have priority (This is to ensure we have the most rated players possible for replacement players, once a spare plays 1 game he gets rated), then lastly we look at the time stamp. By the end of the year, if you put your name often enough you will end up playing roughly 8 to 10 games and if youre asked to replace someone, that amount will go much higher. Hope this answers your question.

How are spares assigned for games? If I am a spare who gets the message first and confirms, does the time stamp on the email confirm that I will be assigned to the game?

Didn't think of looking at the historical drafts. Was pretty sure IGA came later and it did. Looks like Johns and Calzone are the oldest current ones both started as sponsors in 1998 - still have my Johns shirt from that first year of mine. Interesting to see all the sponsor businesses that have come and gone over 50 years.
